Our Chilean Sea Bass comes from a small-pull boat operation in Patagonia, where it’s cleaned, cut and blast-frozen on the boat, sealing in its just-out-of-the-ocean freshness until you’re ready to thaw, cook, and enjoy.
DEFROST BEFORE USE: This product has been individually vacuum-sealed and flash frozen to preserve the incredible taste, freshness and quality. Defrost in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours. For best results remove from refrigerator and packaging for up to 20 minutes prior to cooking.
PAN: Let sea bass sit out for 30 minutes before cooking. Add butter and garlic to a small sauce pan and shimmer to spoon over the fish later. Add olive oil to another pan over medium heat. Pat dry sea bass and salt both sides of fish. Add fish to pan and cook for 4 minutes on each side. Strain garlic from butter and pour over plated fish. Note: If you have thicker sea bass and it’s not all the way cooked you can put in a 220C heated oven for a few minutes.
